Weaving in Golds and Orange

February's Newest Piece

Working with various lengths of warp fringe to learn how to make it beautiful.

Picture of Our Growing Boy

Someday he will understand the significance of that poster, why I mounted it on my desk and the reasons why it is the first thing you see when you come into my home.

  1. Lynda - you are so gifted, in so many ways. I'm so happy to be perusing your 'home' here on the web. It is so neat to have a glimpse into your life. It looks like you are surrounded by the loveliest people and I am SURE you are a huge blessing in everyone's life you come across -- you seem so genuinely thoughtful.

Now, that babe and that poster -- the picture in general should be a poster. It is making me think...

  3. I love the way the tight, even, metallic stitches contrast with the fluffy orange and the minimally woven strip of fabric. You always mix textures in an interesting way.
Wouldn't it be wonderful if every child was exposed to that kind of thinking at an early age. Then none of us would need posters to remind us.
